Citrus & Avocado Salad

For The Salad:
  • 4 cups salad greens
  • 1 grapefruit
  • 1 orange
  • 1 avocado, sliced
For The Dressing:
  • 1 tsp white wine vinegar
  • 1 ½ tsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste


Start by preparing the citrus. Peel the grapefruit and orange using a knife, then slice horizontally. Remove any seeds in the fruit. Save any citrus juices from the cutting board.

To make the dressing, combine dressing ingredients in a small bowl. Toss with the salad greens along with the extra citrus juices. Adjust seasoning to taste, adding more vinegar or olive oil depending on the sweetness of the fruit. Serve dressed salad greens on a plate, topped with the grapefruit, orange, and avocado slices.
