In 1988, a group of five volunteers gathered around a kitchen table to join forces to feed their neighbors in need—and from that moment, Food For Thought was born.

On Sunday, June 7, 2026, we will continue the tradition of gathering around the table at our 8th annual gala, Our Long Table, to raise vital funds to support and nourish Food For Thought’s clients.

This unforgettable event is hosted at Vine Hill House, located on the O’Connell Vineyards in Sebastopol. Gather under shady trees as you revel in breathtaking vineyard views while enjoying wines and live music. Then join friends of Food For Thought on the lawn for an elegant multi-course dinner and exclusive auction.
