17th Annual Spring Home & Garden Tour
Now in its 17th year, Food For Thought’s Annual Western Sonoma County Home & Garden Tour features nine wonderfully diverse locations to visit on Sunday, May 20th from 10am to 5pm. That day owners will open their private gardens to a limited number of ticket holders.
This year’s distinctive group of homes and gardens embodies the range of home and gardening lifestyles in West Sonoma County’s unique ecosystem. Showcasing spectacular homes and fascinating gardens, from a unique geodesic dome on three acres to one of the first working homesteads in Sonoma County, visitors can enjoy this self-guided tour at their leisure. Volunteers will be present at each location to help and answer questions. Tickets go on sale April 15th. Garden enthusiasts should move quickly, because the event frequently sells out.
Tickets are $45 and include a booklet with descriptions of the homes and gardens and a map for the self-guided tour. All proceeds benefit Food For Thought, Sonoma County AIDS Food Bank. Tickets may be ordered on our website Donations page, by phone at (707) 887-1647, or by visiting the Food For Thought office in downtown Forestville.
Delicious gourmet box lunches from Cottonwood Catering for $12.50 can be pre-ordered ahead and will be available for pick-up on the day of the event at Food For Thought in Forestville. There will be shaded areas to eat at Food For Thought’s beautiful organic gardens and an opportunity to tour the food bank.
